Help Us Close the Feedback Loop for Every Learner

EdLoop is building the infrastructure layer that makes K-12 feedback visible, longitudinal, and useful. We are looking for people who want to build something that matters.

Open Roles

We are a small team building something big. Every role here is high-ownership and high-impact.

About EdLoop

EdLoop is the infrastructure layer that closes the K-12 feedback loop. Our platform uses AI to analyze student work, generate actionable feedback, and create visibility for teachers, students, parents, and administrators. We reduce teacher burnout while increasing learning outcomes.

We are a funded, pre-launch edtech startup based in Detroit. Our founder recently won the Detroit Startup Fund Seed Grant (presented by the Mayor of Detroit) and is a current applicant to multiple national accelerator programs. EdLoop has 10+ school and program sites launching this summer across Detroit, with a product that is fully built and ready for implementation.

This is not a big company. This is the ground floor. You would be the first person to join the team.

Head of School Partnerships

We are hiring a Head of School Partnerships to lead EdLoop's school and program implementations, support our fundraising efforts, and serve as the face of EdLoop in Detroit's education community.

This is a high-ownership role. You will not be managing a team or sitting in meetings all day. You will be in schools, running professional development sessions, building relationships with teachers and administrators, collecting data that proves our impact, and helping write the grant applications and pitch materials that fund our growth.

You will report directly to the founder and operate as EdLoop's second-in-command on everything that is not product development.

What You Will Do

School Implementation(Primary)

  • Lead teacher onboarding and professional development across all active EdLoop sites
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for school and program coordinators
  • Facilitate training sessions, check-ins, and ongoing support for educators using the platform
  • Collect weekly usage data, teacher feedback, and student impact stories
  • Build cross-site data narratives that demonstrate EdLoop's impact at scale

Funding and Growth Support

  • Draft grant narratives, budget justifications, and accelerator applications
  • Research new funding opportunities (grants, competitions, fellowships)
  • Maintain a library of reusable grant assets: impact data, testimonials, logic models
  • Prepare materials for funder meetings and investor conversations

Sales Support

  • Attend district demos and meetings alongside the founder
  • Contribute school-specific implementation language to proposals and pitch materials
  • Build relationships across Detroit's education ecosystem that open doors for EdLoop

Who You Are

  • Direct experience working in K-12 schools or youth-serving programs, ideally in Detroit or a similar urban district
  • Background as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, program director, or similar frontline education role
  • Strong writer who can translate classroom experience into compelling narratives for funders, districts, and partners
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — excited, not anxious, about being the second person at a startup
  • Organized and self-directed — you do not need daily check-ins to get work done
  • Connections in Detroit's education community: schools, districts, out-of-school-time programs, or education nonprofits
  • A belief that feedback is the most underleveraged tool in education

Bonus (not required):

  • Experience with grant writing or fundraising in an education context
  • Familiarity with edtech products and how schools adopt technology
  • Connections to national education networks or fellowship programs
  • Experience working with Summer Discovery, after-school, or out-of-school-time programs

The Honest Truth

This is a role for someone who wants to build something. Someone who wants to walk into a school and say “I helped bring this here.” Someone who sees early-stage as an advantage, not a risk. If that is you, we want to talk.

How to Apply

Send a short email to careers@edloop.com with:

  1. Your name and a brief intro (2-3 sentences on who you are)
  2. Your resume or LinkedIn profile
  3. One paragraph on why this role interests you

No cover letter required. We would rather have a real conversation than read a formal application.

EdLoop is committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve. We strongly encourage candidates from Detroit and from backgrounds underrepresented in edtech to apply.
